HOUSING

MAKIKITA QUYKUWAY house is a hospitable and peaceful place where you could  stay while you live in Huancayo. It is located in a nice neighbourhood since here you don't need to take a bus to go to center you just can walk. In addition we offer you the following services:

• We offer our volunteers comfortable  room and board - lodging: 7 days a week

• Hot shower

• We offer you information about restaurants where you can take your meals.

KITCHEN

• Our kitchen has all the necesary utensils if you want to cook your own meal.

• People who works in the Makikita’s house will show you where you can buy fresh vegetables and fruits. ( Super market, traditional market, stores, etc.)

GUEST FAMILY

The Guest Family option has been developed particularly for those who wish to make a cultural journey with the aim of not only volunteering and learning the Spanish language but also about Peru, through the experiences, life and customs of a Peruvian family.  Our guest families are carefully chosen and monitored through regular inspections and volunteer feedback, and also you have the opportunity to practice your Spanish language a lot. Most of them live about short distance from the different centers. The volunteer will always have his/her own private room and will share other facilities like warm water in the bathroom, go to a tourist place with the Peruvian family. Guest families provide three meals a day. Special diets, such as those for vegetarians, diabetics may be catered for. You can omit the meals only if you decide that.
