The central jungle is a must for you to experience the captivations of tropical places. This green province, Chanchamayo, in the Central Jungle is at 800 meters over the sea level at 173 kilometres from Huancayo. It is excellent to visit the warm places of the jungle, beautiful landscapes, great waterfalls where you can swim, the whole nature is amazing as well. The trip from Huancayo to the Central Jungle takes only 4 hours by bus service. You have also the opportunity to visit native communities and the botanical gardens.
